Yesterday, i went to CSUEB to visit the campus. You know how they say the first impression is usually the lasting impression? Well, i was left with one not so good. Ok honestly, i did not feel comfortable driving my car around there. Not to be fucked up or anything, but something about seeing so many burned down buildings and hella minorities wandering the streets looking like they wanna kill the next person who looks at them, just not the best area to try to get started with my college life. Oh, and the hill going up to the campus is steep. like, "fuck, am i on a roller coaster?" steep. The place barely has any signs that tell you where to go, too. The dorms look nice, but idk how 4 people are suppose to share a room as big as my living room. And the place looked like a ghost town, like i seriously only saw 3 or 4 people the whole time there, and they were just bikers biking around campus. I will admit, though, the view is nice. But then again, a view of industrial Oakland isnt the prettiest out there, with all the smoke coming up from factories. Im going back for a freshman orientation sometime in july, so i hope that gives me a better look at things. but for now, ehhhhhh.
Option2, i'll make a visit to Sacramento State sometime during spring break. I got accepted so i might as well check it out. My parents are close to buying a house there, and their thinking about letting me live in it until they retire and move out of the bay. FYEAH! Three and a half months till im out of this place!
