Oh Hot Damn!

I visited Sacramento State this morning. All i gotta say is, i saw much more than what i expected to see. The campus is drop dead BEAUTIFUL, and the neighborhood surrounding it is too. I got a chance to check out the dorms id be staying in if i decide to go there, and its pretty sweet. Hotel-room quality, i might add. As for the academic part, i went to the engineering department office, and they gave me a tour of the classes, labs, lecture halls, and computer labs that i would be sitting in as an undergraduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Oh and the best part. They also showed me the GARAGE where they keep all the cars, karts, and dunebuggies that they work on and race other schools with. OMG, they let me sit in it, and i got to fire to the ignition in their Formula SAE kart. The guy who was showing me around said that all the stuff in that garage were built by students throughout their time at the school, and that kart i sat in was his senior project. I almost wet my pants when i saw the all the stuff they had in there, like a turbine machine and a wind tunnel. It was a good experience, i definitely liked it better than East Bay. But i still gotta decide which one is the BEST option, cause i really wanna stay as close to home as possible. So we'll see.

Oh by the way, im in socal till wednesday. i still gotta get fitted for my tux when i get back, and my car is due for its first tuneup this weekend. yay for Sadie. Anyway, the hotel room im at is like a sweatshop. But whatever. Santa Monica and Venice Beach tomorrow. Time to bust out the sunscreen and baby oil. LATEZZZ.
